It's time to take it step by step, day by day!



Whether you are new to working out or are trying to get back on track, it is crucial that you take a deep breath and take each step one day at a time. As a personal trainer I see too often people start or continue their healthy lifestyle with their peddle to the floor. Don't get me wrong, the enthusiasm is great to see and I love every second of it, however you need to be able to sustain this enthusiasm indefinitely in order to truly be successful.

Just like anything else in life we hit snags in the road. Things are going to continuously try to bump us off track so we must be expecting of this. The best way to face this is to take your time, move with poise and continue with purpose. When you are focused and determined, nothing can alter your course. Yes it may slow down from time to time and you may get bumped on your ass from time to time, but that just means you better get used to jumping back on your feet, dusting yourself off and continuing to show the world and yourself nothing can stop you.

Remember... Life is about the journey. Not the destination. Why? Because the destination doesn't exist. Every time we accomplish something in life we are on to the next thing. It's in our nature and it's who we are. Our purpose in life is to enjoy every second, every minute and every step of the way. Stop looking at life as hard or difficult and start looking at life as a challenge. Challenge yourself to be great! Challenge yourself to push forward. Challenge yourself to be the best version of you each and every day. Minute by Minute! Step by step! Day by day!

Oh yeah! And don't forget to help others along the way. The easiest way forward is through faith and love. Without these two things we are just mere subjects walking through life. Give purpose and be the purpose! We need others just as much as they need us!
